Grading and Workload
Grading will be based on:
Four homework: to be completed individually (30%)
One assignment: to be completed individually (10%)
Two spotlight paper reviews: to be completed individually (10%)
Final project: groups of two students (15%): proposal (2.5%), progress report (2.5%), final report (10%)
Midterm Exam (35%)
Extra credit (see Policies for details) (5%)
Workload for this class is expected to be in range of (2.5-3.0-2.5) that is translated as:
2.5 hours for lectures per week (each 75 min)
3.0 hours for homework, assignments, and projects per week
2.5 hours for preparatory work for each class per week
Final grades will be assigned based on the following mapping:
